Institut de Tècniques Energètiques

L’Institut de Tècniques Energètiques (INTE) centra la seva activitat de recerca a l’entorn de quatre programes:1) Desenvolupaments energètics. Inclouen la tecnologia de l’hidrogen, la termohidràulica i el desenvolupament de materials. 2) Radioactivitat i medi ambient. Es treballa en el camp de la vigilància radiològica del medi ambient mitjançant el desenvolupament d'equips i procediments de mesura i la utilització de models per a la simulacó del transport dels radionúclids.3) Dosimetria i radiofísica mèdica. Les activitats d’aquest programa se centren en la metrologia i la dosimetria de les radiacions, amb especial èmfasi en les aplicacions sanitàries, tant en la mesura com en la modelització amb mètodes Monte-Carlo.4) Física nuclear i d’acceleradors. Es treballa principalment en el camp de la neutrònica i en la tecnologia d’acceleradors.
